Mark E. Alter
Mark graduated from York University in Toronto in 1973. He received his law degree from the University of Windsor and has been in the private practice of law since 1978. In addition to assisting his clients, Mr. Alter has also served as a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Small Claims Court. Mr. Alter enjoys a wide variety of interests including having worked extensively in the area of personal injury litigation. As a community law firm, we offer our clients the opportunity of having their legal matters serviced “under one roof.”
Mr. Alter also assists his clients in the areas of wrongful dismissal, all aspects of insurance claims, family law asset division, commercial litigation and wills and estates. Mr. Alter also practices in the area of commercial and residential real estate, mortgages and debt resolution.
Robert K. McQueen
Robert K. McQueen received his Honour B.A. in history from York University in 1994 and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2000. Robert restricts his practice to the area of family law. Robert has experience in Hague Convention applications and defences, inter jurisdictional custody and access disputes, divorce equalization of family property, custody and access. Robert has defended parents in complicated child protection matters involving various Children’s Aid Societies throughout the Province of Ontario. He has appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and before the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal. Robert is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
